Intermediate Do-In: Strengthening the Trunk & Teacher Training

In the Intermediate training, the focus shifts from personal experience to professional application and energetic depth. You will learn to see the body as a holistic map and gain the tools to guide others through the profound wisdom of Do-In.

Curriculum: The Art of Energy & Teaching

This level is designed to bridge the gap between being a practitioner and becoming a skilled instructor.

  • Advanced Meridian Theory: Go beyond the primary channels. You will learn to work with Internal Paths and Divergent Channels, essential for reaching deep-seated energetic imbalances and harmonizing long-term patterns of health.
  • The Art of Teaching: Discover how to structure professional Do-In classes. We cover everything from theme-setting and energy buildup to clear, safe, and inspiring instruction.
  • Energetic Anatomy: Deepen your understanding of how Ki moves, how to recognize stagnation in others, and how to use specific Do-In sequences as a "living medicine."
  • Personal Mentorship: As you begin to design your own lessons, you will receive expert guidance and feedback from Lilian Kluivers, ensuring your teaching style is both authentic and effective.

  • Workbook: For each of the 9 modules a detailed manual covering advanced meridian flows and teaching methodologies.
  • Teaching Practicum: You will create your own Do-In sequences, receiving personalized feedback to refine your skills.
  • Path to Graduation: Successful completion of this level prepares you for the Advanced Practitioner & Teacher Training, where you will further refine your diagnostic and therapeutic skills.

Teaching materials in the Intermediate Course

The teaching materials for the Intermediate Course consists of a combination of an extensive workbook (over 200 pages) as well as over 70 videos with Do-In classes and acupressure instructions, and audio files with for example meditative exercises.

You will practice teaching Do-In and designing your own series. Lilian gives you feedback on your experiences, coaches you in teaching and supports you in your personal growth.

Intermediate Course: Direct Entry & Transition

Are you already an experienced practitioner or do you have a background in related fields? Students with relevant prior education, such as certified Shiatsu practitioners and acupuncturists, are very welcome to enter directly into our Intermediate Training.

The Fundamentals Bridge

To ensure a seamless transition and to make sure you don't miss any of our core material, we ask "direct-entry" students to also complete the Fundamentals Course.

  • Do-In Practice: Even for those with a strong theoretical background, the Fundamentals year offers a wealth of essential Do-In exercises that form the basis of our practice.
  • Unique Depth: Many students find that our specific approach to acupoints provides a level of depth and enrichment that differs from other programs.
  • Flexibility: Since you likely already know much of the theory, you can progress through the Fundamentals materials at an accelerated pace.

Graduation: Completing the Intermediate Level

Your path to becoming a certified teacher is integrated into the program. Rather than a single stressful exam, you will build a professional portfolio throughout the course, supported by continuous feedback on the lessons you conduct.

To complete the Intermediate & Teacher Training, you will submit:

  • A Practical Teaching Demonstration: A recorded Do-In lesson showcasing your skills.
  • A Professional Portfolio: A comprehensive record of your growth and expertise.

What your portfolio includes:

  • Reflective Journal: A personal report on your development during the Intermediate course.
  • Lesson Archive: Detailed designs and evaluations of 20 Do-In sessions you have conducted.
  • Professional Identity: A description of your unique style as a teacher, coach, or therapist.

Upon successful completion, you will receive your Do-In Teacher Certification, empowering you to share this ancient art professionally.
